The Difference Between Content and Digital Marketing
A lot of people think that content marketing is the same as digital marketing.
Could you be one of them?
It is obviously true that importance of content marketing in digital marketing is not measurable. This is why a bigger number of people think that these two types of marketing are the same. Yes, they are related but like one of our professor’s says, “content marketing and digital marketing are affiliated but yet they are distinct.” So what is the difference between content and digital marketing? This article will expound more and try to answer this question in details.
Instantly Drive More Sales for eCommerce Store with Live Support
The rise of e-commerce has made it possible for businesses of all sizes to reach broader target markets that often span even across continents. However, brick and mortar stores are still in existence and are thriving too.
The reason is simple; people like the personal touch offered by such physical stores. They can take help from customer support executives wherever they feel lost in their shopping journey. Store executives can make suggestions, often upselling to the customers, and convert more visitors into buying customers and further into loyal followers that swear by their brand.
But there is still hope for e-commerce portals. Such a level of personalized assistance gets achieved by integrating a simple tool on your e-commerce store – live chat for customer support.
What to Expect from Google’s Updates Related to SSL Certificate
Google is in a continuing search of a better user experience online. And part of such good experience relies on safety. In a blog post published last February 2018, Google Chrome Product Security Manager Emily Schechter declared that the new Chrome update,Chrome 68, will mark all sites without SSL Certificate as unsafe. This update is expected for July 2018 and will feature major changes on Chrome’s interface; being the most notorious a ‘not secure’ label for HTTP sites.
This is not the first effort of the giant search engine to promote the use of SSL Certificates on websites. In 2012 they released their beta version of the ‘HTTPS Everywhere’ extension. Eventually, having the certificate installed in a website became a ranking factor. According to Mrs. Schechter’s article, ‘81 of the top 100 sites on the web use HTTPS by default’ last year. So with the coming update, it is evident that Google seeks to go even further when it comes to online safety.
A Roadmap to Great Content – From Idea to Viral Post
Creating content for your website may not be easy as it seems. Writer’s block certainly is an aspect of it, but a good content strategy plays a major role as well. Creating a content editorial or having a plan is a way to start, but if you really want to have all things covered then there’s a road you and your content have to take.
Here are a few pointers on how to leverage content to reach greater audiences and improve the overall quality of it all.

How to Schedule Facebook Posts to Be More Efficient and Get Better Results
Imagine this scenario: You have planned to post once a day on Facebook this week.
On Monday morning, you log in to Facebook and navigate to your company’s Facebook Page. You spend some time crafting the perfect post and wait for the supposed best time to post. You read that 3pm is a good time as people are taking a break from work and checking Facebook. So you wait…
At 2:55pm, you go back to the browser tab that has been opened since 10am. When the clock strikes 3pm, you hit “Publish”. Woohoo!
And then you repeat that for the next four days.
If that’s not too far from your day-to-day experience, I would love to suggest a simple tactic that can help you get better results and make you a better marketer…
Scheduling your Facebook posts.
Search engine optimization is incredibly important for marketers. When you optimize your web pages -- including your blog posts -- you're making your website more visible to people who are entering keywords associated with your product or service via search engines like Google.
But Google's copious algorithm updates make this tricky. And today's SEO best practices are all about relevancy and intent. Keep reading -- I'll explain.
How do you know what matters and what doesn't? What are today's blog ranking tactics, and what's considered "old-school"? How on Earth can you keep it all straight?
Remember those speech bubbles that used to pop up at the start of almost every YouTube video years ago? They would instantly cover your screen, screaming “Subscribe to my channel!” or “Watch my next video!”, forcing you scurry over to your mouse and click exit on every bubble before they completely ruined the beginning of the video you were trying to watch.
Even though those omnipresent bubble CTAs could get on your nerves, YouTube decided not to get rid of them entirely.
Local search is powerful for small businesses: four out of five consumers use search to find local information, which means if your business isn’t optimized for local search, you could be missing out on 80% of your potential customers. In short, local SEO is critical if you want your business to stay relevant.
To help you optimize your business for local SEO, we’ve created a comprehensive guide, which will cover local SEO tools, local search best practices, how to optimize for Google My Business, and more.
A Long List of Social Media Statistics that You Need to Know in 2018
Social media statistics are a marketer’s best friend. They tell you how people are using each network and highlight new tactics, technologies, and trends to consider.
The problem is, social media is always changing. From year to year, the popularities of various platforms rise and fall, and what was relevant in 2015 may no longer be so.
That’s why we put together this list of key social media stats for 2018. Use it to inform your strategy, fuel campaigns, and trounce the competition.
How the Facebook Algorithm Works and How to Make it Work for You
Since Mark Zuckerberg’s 2018 announcement that the Facebook algorithm will prioritize “meaningful interactions” from friends and family over content from brands, it has become trickier than ever to ensure your organic content gets the screen time it deserves. But, Facebook is still the largest social media network in the world. Making its algorithm work for you is key to a successful Facebook marketing strategy.
