RecordCast, A Web Application for Screen Video Recording

Recording screencast is not something we do every day, but it is an increasingly common practice among Internet users. We often want to explain to a friend or coworker how this or the other task is done, and it is very difficult to do it over the phone or by instant messaging. To eliminate this problem, we can turn to RecordCast, an interesting application that allows us to record ourselves and then share the recording.

This interesting tool is free and available online, so we do not have to download anything on our computer. RecordCast has no problem to work on any PC with Windows, Linux, or Mac OS operating system. In addition, it is tremendously light, and our browser will hardly notice that it is working. How to use RecordCast?

The disadvantage of RecordCast

The videos of RecordCast can not last more than 10 minutes, so if you plan on a long tutorial, you have to think at the right times to switch video.

In addition, it is still in beta by invitation (but it only took a day to send me one), and they told me that the following new versions would gradually add functions, especially the most basic functions, such as the ability to pause during video recording.
